About Me

Buying and selling a home is a complex process and can be stressful.  I am committed to guiding my clients through that complex process from the beginning through the closing of the transaction and removing as much of the stress as possible.  I will put your interests first, above my own, to help you find a home that meets your needs or sell your existing home.  Let me work hard for you so you don’t have to work as hard!

Julie was born on Long Island, NY but has called the Erie area home for the majority of her life.  She attended Northwestern High School and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics Engineering from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA and a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.  She spent 17 years working for a large company in various engineering, leadership, and field service positions.  The skills she learned during her time at that company, particularly listening to and understanding her customers’ requirements and then creating designs to meet those requirements, are skills that she brings with her to help her understand and meet the real estate needs of her clients.  She also brings with her experience in project management and attention to detail.  Julie also spent 6 years as a substitute teacher and understands the importance of education and continual learning.

Julie has moved many times and faced the challenges of leaving one home and finding another until finding her current home where she has put down roots and lived for 20 years. Julie has been around construction and remodeling since she was 10 years old and is an avid DIY’er.  She loves to take something broken down, tired, or unwanted and transform it into something beautiful with renewed life.

Julie has three daughters who bring a lot of joy and excitement to her life.  One of the things they enjoy doing together is fostering kittens for a local rescue organization.  In her “spare” time, she likes to garden, sew, bake, crochet, and of course fix things up!
